UK consumer inflation

UK consumer inflation expectations hit a record high in May, the Bank of England says Thursday. BOE/GfK quarterly inflation attitudes survey showed UK consumers see prices rising 4.3% over the next 12 months versus 3.3% in February. Net satisfaction in the BOE's economic management hit record low in May, the BOE says. The survey showed that expectations of an interest rate hike are growing - 48% of consumers expect rates to rise over the next 12 months versus 43% in February, the BOE says.
